This iconic festival celebrated its 25th year, and from June 5th to 7th, 2009, it once again became the epicenter of the rock universe.

Among the first batch of confirmed acts were Canadian punk rockers Billy Talent, Swedish indie sensations Mando Diao, and the beloved global favorites, The Subways. An exclusive appearance by Killswitch Engage added another layer to the diverse lineup.

Maintaining its global reach, Rock am Ring showcased top Swedish indie acts and punk rockers. Volbeat and an exclusive appearance by Killswitch Engage added an international flair. Yet, the festival did not forget its roots, featuring German acts like Peter Fox, Jan Delay & Disko No.1, and Kettcar Arctic Circle 18.

  1. It seemed like James was back in his original metallica fashion at the 2008 Rock Am Ring and with the release of their new album the possiblities are high.
