Rock am Ring Line Up 2025

Linkin Park to Headline Rock am Ring 2026
NÜRBURGRING / NUREMBERG, GERMANY — June 6, 2025 — Iconic rock band Linkin Park have been confirmed as a headliner for Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2026, two of Europe’s biggest rock festivals. The announcement was made during Rock am Ring 2025, when giant video screens lit up with the news, followed by a firework and laser display that sent the crowd into a frenzy. The band later confirmed it on Instagram, and Rock im Park followed suit.

This will be Linkin Park’s first appearance at the festivals since 2014. They previously performed there in 2001, 2004, 2007, 2012, and 2014, with many fans still holding up their 2004 set as a defining moment. The 2026 appearance lines up with the band’s ongoing world tour and a heavy European schedule.

Brief Bio: Who Are Linkin Park?
Formed in 1996 in Agoura Hills, California, Linkin Park rose to global fame with their 2000 debut album Hybrid Theory, which went Diamond and helped define the nu-metal era. Their sound fused heavy guitars with hip hop beats and raw emotion, creating hits like “In the End” and “Crawling.” Follow-up albums like Meteora and Minutes to Midnight cemented their global impact.

After frontman Chester Bennington’s death in 2017, the band went quiet for several years. They re-emerged in 2023 with new vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain. Their comeback album From Zero dropped in 2024, and their From Zero World Tour continues into 2026.

Linkin Park Are Back. And They’re Coming for Rock am Ring.

At Rock am Ring 2025, the skies opened. Not with rain, but with news. In front of a sea of fans, giant screens flashed the words that no one expected and everyone needed: Linkin Park. Headlining 2026.

Forget nostalgia. This is war paint. Linkin Park are not just back. They’re dangerous again. With Emily Armstrong stepping into lead vocals and Colin Brittain locked in on drums, the band has rebuilt itself into something leaner, louder and fully locked in. Their 2024 album From Zero didn’t look back — it tore forward.

The 2026 set won’t be a tribute to the past. It will be a full-force statement. Two decades after their first Ring appearance, they are returning to the same ground that helped launch them into legend.

Germany should prepare for impact. Because Linkin Park aren’t revisiting old ground. They’re about to burn it down.
