Getting to Rock am Ring by Plane is easy, just follow our guide below. In short if you want to fly to rock am ring, once at Frankfurt or Cologne Airport you need to pick up a train to Koblenz. At Koblenz train station you can pick up a shuttle bus that goes direct to the festival site easy !!!
Getting to Rock am Ring Via Frankfurt Airport
| 1 | First Fly into Frankfurt.  There is two airports  Frankfurt International (FRA) & HAHN AIRPORT (HHN) We recommend Frankfurt International as the travel links are better. Festival Dates to consider: The Camp Site opens on 2nd June 2011, so we suggest you fly on say the 1st June, The camp site closes on Monday 6th June 2011. Just put your planned travel dates, and out going airport to find the cheapest flights from all airlines. Flights around £80

| 2 | Before you travel down or after Rock am Ring consider booking a stay in Frankfurt. The best Hotels offers for Frankfurt we have found from  Alpharooms, and Laterooms |
| 3 | If you are on a tight budget why not try Hostelsbookers.com they have Frankfurt hostels from £10 a night We have used them to hitchhiker around the world you can get some really good offers from them |
| 4 | You need to make your way to  Koblenz.  You can get fast trains from Frankfurt check out the German Railways website which is all in english |
| 5 | Once in Koblenz Official Rock am Ring Shuttle Coaches to the Rock am Ring Festival Site.  The Shuttle Coaches run from Thursday 3rd June 2010,  They will run coaches back to Koblenz on the Monday after the festival.  If you arrive before the this consider booking a hotel.  Lastminute.com have some good  Cheap Koblenz Hotel Offers |
Getting to Rock am Ring from Cologne Airport ( Koln)
| 1 | First Find a cheap flight to Cologne (KölnBonn Airport CGN ) We use the search engine below for cheapest flights to Cologne they search all airlines I found them cheaper than Lastminute, Ebookers and Expedia. Key Dates 2nd June 2011 Camp Site Open, but Shuttle Buses Start 2nd June, Camp site closes 6th June. Cheapest Flight around £55 inc taxes

| 2 | Why not book a hotel before or after Rock am Ring you can find Cheap Hotels in Cologne from Alpharooms, and Laterooms |

| 4 | Koblenz is where all the festival goers will descend for the final journey to Rock am Ring. This is your last chance to stock up on food and booze. The organisers put on shuttle buses from Thursday 2nd June 2011 direct to the camp sites. We are arriving at cologne airport at 9.15 obviously plan to get train to koblenz but its after the shuttle busses finish how much do you think a taxi would be?
