Getting to Rock am Ring by Plane is easy, just follow our guide below. In short if you want to fly to rock am ring, once at Frankfurt or Cologne Airport you need to pick up a train to Koblenz.  At Koblenz train station you can pick up a shuttle bus that goes direct to the festival site easy !!!

Travel to Rock am Ring, How to get to Rock am ring

Special bus services to and the main train station Koblenz and the Nürburgring Rock am ring Festival Site. The buses run at fixed times, and last year the numbers were increased and again in 2008 more buses will operate.

The buses will goto Nurburgring: At the car park D10 (behind Grandstand 13) and pick up from bus stop in Koblenz (300 metres from the main train station, near the RMV Customer Center)
The bus ticket price return is euro 10.00 each. . A single ticket costs 5.50 – EUR.

Rock am Ring takes place at the Nürburgring racetrack in Germany on 6th – 8th June 2008.   We want to show you that it is quite easier to get a train to rock am ring festival 2008.

So how do you get to Rock am Ring by Train?

 You can either get the Eurostar to Brussels  then train to Koblenz or get a ferry to calais then a train to Koblenz. Once in Koblenz you pick up  the Official Shuttle Buses to Rock am Ring it really is that easy.

Eurostar to Rock am Ring

First get Eurostar to Brussels

Get the Eurostar from London St Pancras to Bruxelles Midi  ( Brussels) which takes only 2hr  I just checked the prices for travelling out wednesday 4th June 2008 and returning 9th June 2008,  for a fare from £29.50

Final Leg to Rock am Ring Woop Woop ! !

The Rock am Ring Organisers put on shuttle buses from Thursday 5th June 2008 to the Rock am Ring Site from Koblenz bus station.   We suggest you pick up your food and booze here too, lots of cheap supermarkets and offies.

Ferry to Rock am Ring

First get Ferry to Calais

You can get the Eurostar to Calais check out their website .  However why not get a boat.   We always use Ferry Cheap to ensure we get the cheapest dover to calais prices

Second get Train to Koblenz

You can get a train from Calais-Frethun to Koblenz in under 5 hours.

Third Leg to Rock am Ring woo hoo

 As mentioned above you can pick up shuttle buses from Koblenz to the festival site.
