The German Rock am Ring Festival have confirmed their fourth and last headliner, and they are Rage Against The Machine. They join Muse, Kiss, and Rammstein to headline the biggest rock music festival
The Rock am ring festival takes place at the Nurburgring race track between Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June 2010 other additions include Alice in Chains, Mastodon, and Stone Sour.
The Rock am Ring Festival is 25 years old this year so will be an amazing event.

Rock am Ring have confirmed that Them Crooked Vultures, Jay-Z and 30 Seconds To Mars are all to play the 25th Rock am Ring 2010.

The fans are eagerly awaiting two festivals, which is beyond all historical dimensions. With a huge anniversary party 25 years Rock am Ring and Rock will celebrate 15 years in the park. The line-up puts all existing open air events at the Nurburgring and in Nuremberg in the shade, the most popular German festivals guaratees an exceptional evening of 3 June (Corpus Christi) to start. Corpus Christi is already a holiday period in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland
The previously confirmed headliners Rammstein, Kiss and Muse are now complemented by the new rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures with Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin). The superstar of U.S. rap and hip-hop, Jay-Z wants to show ring and Park rockers, why he is one of the most gifted music makers of his time. News of a return of 30 Seconds To Mars, The Hives and Wolfmother as well as the metal veterans Slayer. Plumb involved with the German indie-rock legends to the two parties.

The largest German open-air events are nationally top-acts such as Jan Delay & Disko No.. 1 and Sportfreunde Stiller, as well as promised, the alternative-rock protagonist Rise Against and Gossip and the indie exponents Editors, Kasabian and Gogol Bordello. The current line-up, of course, also offers young heroes and legends of metal and hard rock like Motorhead, Bullet For My Valentine, Volbeat, Airborne, and As I Lay Dying. Other participants of more than 85 bands overall starter box for the three stages will be successively announced.

Rock am ring organisers have advised that over 100,000 tickets have now being sold for Rock and Ring and Rock im Park 2009. They have confirmed more bands to the line up to join the 70 already confirmed, the new bands for Rock am Ring unclude Razorlight, Machine Head, Guano Apes, Madness, Phoenix, and Chris Cornell

The Rock am Ring festival is German’s favourite Open Air Festival, and the the latest additions just add to an already awesome line up, which includes Slipknow, Placebo, The Killers, The Prodigy and now Razorlight

The line up is young and fresh with some of the top bands in the world together with lots of new bands.

The Twin site festival takes place on the weekend of 5th June to 7th June 2009, at Nürburgring and Nürnberg.

The famous motor racing track will rock to the sounds of
Placebo, Billy Talent, Bloc Party and The Kooks at, and even harder and darker to Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson, Korn and Machine Head
The local German bands will be strongly represented by the likes of Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, MIA. Selig and Guano Apes, comeback is also a great attraction. Also newly confirmed bands like Madness, Phoenix or Chris Cornell are among the other highlights of the 70 bands that are now firmly on the ring and Park roster.
Rock festival fans can expect more than 100 hours of Modern Rock at its best in three stages.

The Rock am Ring Festival is one of Europe’s Largest Music Festivals. The Rock am Ring and its sister event Rock m Park take place over the same weekend in Germany.
Rock am Ring is hosted at the Nürburgring motor racing track in the west of Germany. The Rock im Park event takes place near the Frankenstadion in Nürnberg which is in the South East of Germany.

Rock am Ring takes place on the weekend of 4th – 6th June 2010. Bands which play on one day Rock am Ring will play the Rock im Park on the next day.
The festival is the largest in Germany with over 150,000 attending across the two events. In 2007 both events sold out in advance for the first time in their history.

Rock am Ring organisers have added even more acts the festival which takes place on June 6-8 2008. Bolton’s finest The Verve are to perform together with Queens of the Stone Age and Swedish metal heads OPETH.
