The German Rock am Ring Festival have confirmed their fourth and last headliner, and they are Rage Against The Machine. They join Muse, Kiss, and Rammstein to headline the biggest rock music festival
The Rock am ring festival takes place at the Nurburgring race track between Friday 4th to Sunday 6th June 2010 other additions include Alice in Chains, Mastodon, and Stone Sour.
The Rock am Ring Festival is 25 years old this year so will be an amazing event.

Rock am Ring have confirmed that Them Crooked Vultures, Jay-Z and 30 Seconds To Mars are all to play the 25th Rock am Ring 2010.

The fans are eagerly awaiting two festivals, which is beyond all historical dimensions. With a huge anniversary party 25 years Rock am Ring and Rock will celebrate 15 years in the park. The line-up puts all existing open air events at the Nurburgring and in Nuremberg in the shade, the most popular German festivals guaratees an exceptional evening of 3 June (Corpus Christi) to start. Corpus Christi is already a holiday period in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland
The previously confirmed headliners Rammstein, Kiss and Muse are now complemented by the new rock supergroup Them Crooked Vultures with Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) and John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin). The superstar of U.S. rap and hip-hop, Jay-Z wants to show ring and Park rockers, why he is one of the most gifted music makers of his time. News of a return of 30 Seconds To Mars, The Hives and Wolfmother as well as the metal veterans Slayer. Plumb involved with the German indie-rock legends to the two parties.
30 bands have been confirmed but expect many more to be added before the festival starts in June
The 85,000 tickets for the ring should definitely be sold out within the next 14 days. Here beats the heart of rock’n'roll past 25 years. The interest of tens of thousands of fans who want to miss the anniversary in any case, is now focusing increasingly on the twin festival Rock im Park in Nuremberg. Here, too, is expected to be early selloff.

Rock am Ring 2010 will see the biggest festival in Germany celebrate their 25th Anniversary. The rock music festival which takes place at the world famous Nürburgring race track between 4 – 6 June 2010.

The Confirmed Bands for Rock am Ring 2010 include headliners Rammstein, Muse, Jay Z, Them Crooked Vultures and Kiss. Over 70,000 tickets have already being sold for rock am rign 2010.
The largest German open-air events are nationally top-acts such as Jan Delay & Disko No.. 1 and Sportfreunde Stiller, as well as promised, the alternative-rock protagonist Rise Against and Gossip and the indie exponents Editors, Kasabian and Gogol Bordello. The current line-up, of course, also offers young heroes and legends of metal and hard rock like Motorhead, Bullet For My Valentine, Volbeat, Airborne, and As I Lay Dying. Other participants of more than 85 bands overall starter box for the three stages will be successively announced.

Rock am Ring 2010 takes place on the weekend of Fri, 04 June 2010 to Sunday 6th June 2010 at the world famous Nürburgring race track in Nürburg. Seatwave the fan to fan ticket exchange site have tickets on sale now.

The Rock am Ring at the Nurburgring is the largest festival in Germany and one of the most established across Europe.

The Rock am Ring (Rock at the Ring) and Rock im Park (Rock in the Park) festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually in Germany. While Rock am Ring takes place at the Nürburgring racetrack in the west of Germany, Rock im Park takes place in and around the Frankenstadion in Nuremberg, in the south east of Germany.
Both festivals are usually regarded as one event with a mostly identical lineup for both festivals. All artists perform one day at Nürburgring and another day in Nuremberg during the three day event. There have been minor exceptions in the past years where an artist will be announced for one of the festivals only.
Together Rock im Park and Rock am Ring are the largest music festivals in Germany and one of the largest in the world with a combined attendance of just over 150,000 people in 2007, selling out both events in advance for the first time [1].

Rock am Ring 2009 add Madness and Razorlight to line up

Rock am ring organisers have advised that over 100,000 tickets have now being sold for Rock and Ring and Rock im Park 2009. They have confirmed more bands to the line up to join the 70 already confirmed, the new bands for Rock am Ring unclude Razorlight, Machine Head, Guano Apes, Madness, Phoenix, and Chris Cornell

The Rock am Ring festival is German’s favourite Open Air Festival, and the the latest additions just add to an already awesome line up, which includes Slipknow, Placebo, The Killers, The Prodigy and now Razorlight

The line up is young and fresh with some of the top bands in the world together with lots of new bands.

The Twin site festival takes place on the weekend of 5th June to 7th June 2009, at Nürburgring and Nürnberg.

The famous motor racing track will rock to the sounds of
Placebo, Billy Talent, Bloc Party and The Kooks at, and even harder and darker to Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson, Korn and Machine Head
The local German bands will be strongly represented by the likes of Jan Delay & Disko No. 1, MIA. Selig and Guano Apes, comeback is also a great attraction. Also newly confirmed bands like Madness, Phoenix or Chris Cornell are among the other highlights of the 70 bands that are now firmly on the ring and Park roster.
Rock festival fans can expect more than 100 hours of Modern Rock at its best in three stages.

Prodigy Manson and Limp Bizkit Join Rock am Ring 2009 Line Up

Rock am Ring organisers have added some great acts to an already fantastic line up. Rock am Ring faves the Prodigy, Korn Marilyn Manson, Bloc Party, Selig and Limp Bizkit. 65,000 tickets have been sold already so you want to be quick to get tickets for the most popular open air festival in Germany. The line up additions join The Killers, Slipknot, Placebo and many more.

The Prodigy return with a fantastic new studio album back, grain, like Die Toten Hosen on the ring and in the park just as the house band are, however, leave extra for appearances at her ring and Park Studio. Together with Marilyn Manson Korn be a spectacular set at the Alternastage deliver. One of the most influential British indie-rock bands, Bloc Party, are at the festival from her musical calling card. Selig, one of the legendary German rock bands on the ring and celebrate in the park before their Reunion large audience, while Limp Bizkit in their original line-up at last “unfinished work” with no doubt be furious nachholen performances. Overall, more than 30 artists to participate in the twin festivals.
